Work out your break-even with Kav, using the published prices
A five-minute way to test whether Kav pays for itself for you: the published plan prices, one formula, and the inputs only you can supply.
You do not need our numbers to decide whether Kav pays for itself. You need yours, plus the plan prices, which are public. This page gives you the prices, one formula, and the few inputs only you can supply. It makes no claim about what you will save.
The published prices
| Plan | Price | Includes |
|---|---|---|
| Basic | $150 per month | Website widget and knowledge base; no integration modules or Agent Desk; 800 conversations per month. |
| Starter | $325 per month | Up to 2 integration modules, 5 Agent Desk seats, 3,000 conversations per month. |
| Growth | $750 per month | Everything in Starter, one additional channel, 15 Agent Desk seats, 12,000 conversations per month. |
| Enterprise | Custom quote | Modules, channels, seats and volume sized to you. |
Each additional channel is $148 per month. An integration module connects Kav to one back-office system; Starter and Growth include up to two, and each further module is a one-time integration project rather than another subscription. Prices are in USD for reference; Israeli municipalities are billed in NIS. The pricing page is the source of record.
One formula
Break-even contacts per month = plan price ÷ your cost per answered contact.
Your cost per contact is what a contact costs you today: agent hours × loaded hourly cost ÷ contacts handled. Count it from your own log; do not take it from this page.
The left column below is a calculator input, not a benchmark. We are not telling you what a contact costs you.
| If a contact costs you | Basic ($150) | Starter ($325) | Growth ($750) | One more channel ($148) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| $1 | 150 | 325 | 750 | 148 |
| $2 | 75 | 163 | 375 | 74 |
| $5 | 30 | 65 | 150 | 30 |
| $10 | 15 | 33 | 75 | 15 |
Each cell is the number of contacts per month Kav has to answer without a person for the plan to cost you no more than the work it replaced. Rounded up.
The most a conversation can cost you
Divide the price by the conversations the plan includes:
| Plan | Price ÷ included conversations | Per included conversation |
|---|---|---|
| Basic | $150 ÷ 800 | $0.19 |
| Starter | $325 ÷ 3,000 | $0.11 |
| Growth | $750 ÷ 12,000 | $0.06 |
That is the ceiling if you use the whole allowance in a month, and it rounds to the cent. A conversation is not the same as a resolved contact, so treat it as a comparison point, not a promise. For what happens above an allowance, ask us: Enterprise is sized to your volume.
Gain, not only cost
Money saved and money earned are different lines; keep them apart.
- Saved: contacts answered without a person × your cost per contact.
- Earned: enquiries or orders captured outside hours × your conversion rate × your average order or matter value.
Measure, do not estimate
- Tag your contacts for four weeks and count how many were a pure lookup.
- Pick one channel and one system to connect first.
- Compare the same weeks before and after, not this quarter against last.
- Add what is not in the plan price: the one-time integration project, and the people time to review content.
