Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to use this website and the Kav assistant on it — including people who use a keyboard, a screen reader or magnification.
Our commitment and the standard we follow
This website is built to Israeli Standard 5568, which is based on the international WCAG 2.0 guidelines at level AA, in line with the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013. We aim for the newer WCAG 2.2 level AA.
Accessibility is part of how we build, not a layer added afterwards: Hebrew and English are equals, right-to-left and left-to-right layouts are both first-class, and we do not use an accessibility overlay plugin.
What we have made accessible
Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator and a “skip to content” link at the top of each page.
Pages use a clear heading structure and semantic HTML, so a screen reader can move by headings, landmarks and lists. The FAQ uses native expand-and-collapse elements that work without scripts.
Text can be enlarged with the browser's zoom without loss of content, and the layout adapts to small screens.
When your system asks for reduced motion, the site's animations are turned off and each illustration is shown as a still image. Nothing on the site flashes.
The Kav assistant on this site can be opened and used with a keyboard alone; focus stays inside it while it is open and Escape closes it. New answers are announced once to screen readers, it fills the screen on small devices, and it adds borders in high-contrast (forced colors) mode.
Known limitations
An automated check in September 2026 found that some small text inside the channel illustrations on the home page does not yet meet the required colour contrast. We are fixing it.
The website is currently available in Hebrew and English. The assistant itself also answers in Arabic, Russian and Amharic, but the site's pages are not yet translated into those languages.
If you find any other barrier, please tell us — we treat an accessibility report as a bug to fix, not a request to consider.
How we test
Every page is checked with automated accessibility tests and navigated with a keyboard alone, in both Hebrew and English.
This statement was last reviewed on the date shown above, and we review it whenever the site changes significantly.
