Which channels does Kav support — and which are live today?
Live today: the website widget and Telegram. WhatsApp is implemented and goes live once Meta approves the business account. Here is every channel's status.
Kav answers on several channels from one engine. Here is exactly where each one stands today.
| Channel | Status |
|---|---|
| Widget on your website | Live |
| Telegram | Live |
| Implemented — goes live once Meta approves your WhatsApp Business account | |
| Messenger and Instagram | Not live yet |
| SMS and voice | Not live yet |
What each status means
- Live means customers can use it today. The website widget needs no registration step — it's live the moment the embed line is on your page. Telegram has its own adapter and is live.
- Implemented means Kav's side is built. For WhatsApp, the remaining step is Meta's approval of your business account — see Does Kav support WhatsApp?.
- Not live yet means the channel is part of the platform's design and appears as a channel type in the Studio, but customers can't use it today. We don't describe a channel as live until it is.
One engine, every channel
Every channel uses the same capabilities, rules and knowledge. Add a channel, and everything you already configured is already there — nothing is rebuilt per channel. Conversations that need a person land in one agent-desk queue, whichever channel they came from.
